| Introduction:
When
her children were small, Suzanne enjoyed photographing them in
black and white and hand painting the portraits. After many requests,
she opened her doors for business in 1996 calling her paintings "Oil
on Silver." Enjoying a wonderful following in Marietta, Georgia,
she built and outdoor garden studio where she photographed hundreds
of children from around the world and her portraits from that
era can be found in homes internationally.
She relocated in 2001 to Tampa, Florida, and used the transition
to segue into digital photography. To relax, she studied painting
and drawing. When she learned there was software available for
the professional artist that defied all boundaries of traditional
painting, she began practicing with a stylus instead of a brush.
Happy to be back in the Metro-Atlanta area, Suzanne is once
again bringing her special gift of painting portraits and creating
wall art of subjects near and dear to her clients' hearts.
Quotes:
I find peace in my heart when creating a portrait sitting by orchestrating nothing… Merely a casual conversation, a whispered suggestion here or there, singing silly made-up songs to elicit the unprepared smile; these are my mastered tools. This is my art. This is how I create art that happens to be you.
